I’m looking to order one and don’t want a crappy one. Any tips welcome as well because I’m new to this!  Out of curiosity kate, why a crossbow instead of a gun? Also, you do realize that a crossbow big enough to be useful is likely not only going to be expensive but also going to require large amounts of strength to operate right? Save on ammo for hunting, I learned a bit about crossbow hunting this summer when I took the hunters safety program and I’d like to get into the sport. I’m pretty strong these days from lifting weights daily so that shouldn’t be a problem. I’m seeing prices from 600.00 CA to 1700.00, that’s a big difference so I thought I’d ask. Is a crossbow quieter than a gun?
