There is just no metal out there....supply has been in decline for years.

The US Mint used to make 35-40 million ASE's for years, until they couldn't get metal anymore and now it's 15 million per year? This is a lack of metal, not a lack of demand.

You idiots are going to get screwed.. the price is determined by the paper market, the hedge funds have unlimited paper they can throw at it to drive the price down.. if they can deliver in physical they will just settle in fiat...alot of you must new to the market who don't understand this...

Forgive my ignorance, but isn't the way to decimate the hedgers is to buy physical silver only??? I'm all for helping do my part in taking them down (AND restoring silver VALUES to where they should be - as well as making a bit for myself), but I am simply not finding (good thing) physical silver to be purchased...

Can one buy coins (90% pure) or should it only be bullion? Why does it matter? Where can I but physical silver?

I want to do my part - but to do it educationally. Any help is greatly appreciated OP.

There is just too much of it to move like GME. I can see a 10-25% pop but that might be it. It is still worth it to buy and hold though. Just no moonshots.

I think with current materials science (graphene) etc old school uses of silver might be at risk therefore the price. Look at diamonds. Only reason common colored diamonds are so expensive is because of deBeers controlling virtually all diamond supply even tho diamonds are somewhat common on Earth and something which rains from the sky on a moon off Jupiter (I'm not sure which)

It doesn't tell it all. There are some things everyone should understand. Let me see if I can lay them out.

1) Inflation is really caused by an expansion of the monetary base. Whenever the government deficit spends they will create price inflation because there is now more currency chasing the same number of goods and services (perhaps slightly more due to 2% GDP).

2) Money as defined by the constitution is gold or silver.

3) Since 1933 our government has increased the national debt by around 8.5% a year, every year. In 1933 our national debt was $22 billion, do the calculation:

Debt 2021 = $22B(1+0.085)^(2021-1933)
Debt 2021 = $28,000B = $28 Trillion (about what it is today).

4) Since gold and silver are money according to the US constitution, the value between silver and FRN's need to reflect that inflation in the monetary base. That's a simple calculation:

Todays Silver Price = $1(1+0.085)^(2021-1933) = $1,311 per oz

So you see, the current price of silver at less than $30 has been artificially rigged in the future's market by selling more future's positions than has actually been mined. That ratio is probably more than 250:1

Those industries that actually NEED silver quite obviously cannot accept fiat instead of silver, driving the physical price up. If the physical price comes completely decoupled from paper, everyone will see the farce for what it is

No the price is supressed by the paper markets but giving the illusion its setting the price.

Historically, silver has always outperformed gold on these kinds of runs.

Actual mined gold vs silver right now is 1oz of gold vs 8-9oz of silver.

Last time I checked, the paper gold to silver ratio was dropping like a rock and is currently around 64 to 1.

We have a long way to go to see parity with actual mining vs paper inflated contracts.

Silver should be between $150 and $205 at current gold prices.

The party is just getting started.
