I watched a vid a few days ago from someone who was going through all the DC hotels. Every one of them were exorbitantly priced for the 4th and 5th.

Historically, March 4th was inauguration day under the 1776 constitution, and folks are thinking/hoping/praying/expecting that Trump, on the 4th, gets inaugurated as POTUS of the new republic.

Geez, you people have such a short term memory. After the National Guard was caught sleeping in parking garages, Trump said he will let all the military stay in that hotel for free, and when their "deployment" was extended, he said their families can come stay there for free as well, to be closer together.

When you make offers like that and people accept them, you have to play with the rates constantly, as you have influxes of people coming and going constantly and not paying for anything.
