Quoting: Where Eagles Dare I work at the Local Gun Store (LGS), in a (semi) free state. We don’t yet have magazine capacity limits, Firearms Owner Identification Cards (FOID), or do a Daily Record of Sale (DROS). The DROS is another retarded California thing, but I digress. I processed a transaction today for a customer that ordered his firearm online and had it shipped to the store. We don’t see a lot of AR-15s these days, so it piqued my interest. I noticed that it had only a ten round magazine (as opposed to the normal 30 rounds), so that I knew that it was California compliant. However, what I discovered next shook me to my core. In fact, when I pulled the AR from the box for the first time, my initial reaction was “What in the fuck is this???” The pistol grip was all deformed and misshapen, as if it had experienced a tragic malfunction in the manufacturing process. I cannot even accurately describe it, but a picture is prominently displayed at this link: [link to www.thetruthaboutguns.com (secure)] This was about six hours ago, and I’m still astounded at the absurdity (and the abomination!) of this ridiculous monstrosity. I didn’t even bother to ask the guy why he bought that particular version, when I’m pretty sure that he had to have seen a picture of the rifle on the sales website. I simply sold him a real AR pistol grip, and instructed him as to how to eliminate that ridiculous California piece of shit that was defiling an otherwise beautiful firearm. I like it when I learn a new thing in a day, as it adds to my quest to expand my knowledge of the world and my environment. But THIS? This has left me flabbergasted and a little depressed. Oh it gets so much worse. Trust me you don't wanna know roguetechie |

(OP) Metal-American User ID: 73836248 United States 02/12/2021 07:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This last year has been so weird. An elderly black man approached the counter today and asked me "Do you sell guns to the Prowd Boys?" What? I have a reasonably functional brian, but that question just about shut me down. It was absolutely mind-blowing. I could only reply that "Not that I am aware of." Without a word, the dude turned and walked away. I eagerly anticipate the rapture. So it can't be changed without disengaging the lock with a key. Lot of good that does. The bangers really give two shits about the laws. |

Oh it gets so much worse. Trust me you don't wanna know Care to share? I only found out about the FOID when I was asked if this state requires one. "What in the hell is a FOID?" I was left shaking my head when I learned about it. The DROS blew me away. A guy that worked at LGS in California asked me where we send the DROS. "What in the hell is a DROS?" Fuck those weenie states.
