A Universal Day of Rest - The Law Of Antichrist

While there are references towards the first day of the week in the New Testament, none of them state any direct change of the Sabbath Day, or of a transference of Sabbath duties to Sunday. As a matter of fact, it is continuously called "the first day of the week", while the 7th Day is continuously called the Sabbath. There are only 4 direct references to meetings on the first day of the week, which is not a lot, considering that there is an overwhelming number of sabbath meetings pointed out.

Acts 13:14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.

Acts 13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.

Acts 16:13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spake unto the women which resorted thither.

Acts 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the (((Children of Israel))) and the Greeks.

Following in the footsteps of Christ, Paul was sure to bring the Gospel to the people on the Sabbath Day. Not only is there singular references of sabbath meetings, but there are words like "every sabbath" and "as his manner was". In no way, shape or form do we even see such language attached to theses "Sunday meetings." They are generally painted as one time events - the meeting after Christ's resurrection (lacking Thomas), then Thomas brought the next week, Paul speaking to the disciples on a Sunday before he departs, and the Christians bringing together money for the poor saints in Jerusalem, once. Wherein do these verses suggest an idea of permanence for Sunday?
