One technique I learned as to the above, is this: Become even more of an asset, to offset the chimney. So, if you are off-putting good stuff, like I have a bread maker and I also [secretly/zero-circle] grew some bud, to give away free, well, then people will make excuses for you, and look away from your smoke, because it means good things for them.

I also put up a security cam in a vulnerable spot and it cut down crime for the neigh'bs and so they shrug and would again thereby, be less intere4sted to bother with one dude's small chimney. Whatever the chimney contributes to, contributes to the neighb's toleration of it. Well, perhaps not in municipality but in rv parks like mine in the snow zone.

I might also say the following. Early in this thread it was explained that wood is stored solar energy. No battery can store such btus and heat energy as a few logs in the cellar, even for decades, that energy waits to be used.

Many people are having conversations like this about batteries, as well. We all know batteries are toxic horse shit green-theft vector. But, on a personal level we can use batteries very well, and to have happiness from them, not worrying about the cost. The cost of a rotting battery or ground up as toxic dust recylable, is [maths] more or less than the heating of the globe by your use of hairspray for example.

If it rots it rots to methane and CO2.
So there's no way around it.

My stove is newer and doesnt even make smoke. That said we need particulates in the air for rain to occur. We have taken natures ability to create particulates by putting out all forest fires. If you leave wood to decompose it creates methane as opposed to CO2 which is far more detrimental. These fuckers need to learn some actual science as oppsed to their persistant knee jerk virtue signalling policies.

IF these people cared so much about the planet then they should also complain about China and India and all the pollution in our oceans.
