Describe how these rolling blackouts are the first phase and how they will lead to full economic collapse way sooner than the end of March. You might want to throw in a bit of famine language too. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79926026 United States 02/16/2021 06:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My cousin is a lobbyist for a major US cargo carrier. He was home this last weekend and after too much Woodford Reserve he started talking about the upcoming “Force Majeure” clause they had recently re-written for the carrier operations. The gist is cargo jets from major US carriers plus Kallita, Tepper, L3 Comm, North American Airlines(Obama’s old buddies) and Evergreen etc...will be taken over by US govt under the Civil/Miltary transport agreements. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79884798 You’re not gonna get your Amazon package because the jets are carrying military personnel and medical supplies. You’re SOL on getting anything while force majeure rules in place. Trucking companies may possibly be utilized if necessary. A national emergency will be declared thus allowing force majeure. The internet/power grid/finance system, possibly 1 or all, will be taken down and some type of reset will happen. He said timeline is end of March but can slip if necessary.. bottom line is Bido has to be able to blame it on Trump. More it slips the more Bido owns it. Look for usual suspects, false flags, etc... I know it’s not much hopefully we’ve been prepping in any way we can. Keep the faith, watch over each other and don’t give into petty divisive tactics employed against us. |

Timeframe - "end of March" - coincides with what I am hearing from others in terms of economic happenings. Not surprising that if major military or economic happenings occur, operations to support those efforts will supercede other criteria such as non-essential use of shipping and communications. Is that to say we will have a major emergency in that timeframe? If you're asking for certainty, you won't get it from me. But if you are asking about possibilities... well, ask me what I'm doing, and I will tell you I am VERY carefully considering my financial exposure and I'm making sure I'm able to sit-out a prolonged disruption of a few weeks in length without breaking a sweat (in terms of everyday material necessities). A few months, with putting my back into it. IMHO, that's not a bad place to be. Certainly no one should panic over this... this isn't a "DOOM!" situation. Just get your necessities squared away, and breathe easy. It's the people who never think about potential problems, until they become REAL problems, who end up panicking when they realize their sudden vulnerability at the last minute. Many people will be caught off guard because they have never prepared in their lives, in general. But all the signs are there. Digital banking, possible gold standard. Masks forever. Lots of deaths, good time to be in the funeral business. Haves and Have Nots will become apparent. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80049453 United States 02/16/2021 10:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | is it a fair question to ask , OP, did you just extrapolate an assumption that things will go south at the end of march or did he specifically say that 'force majeur' would be in play. it almost looks like the part about the changing of terms of force majeur was real, but the rest of it could just be speculation from him or you or both. your input would be appreciated. thanks. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78629642 Canada 02/16/2021 11:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You didn't really state why military would need to take over planes, that's the real intel. Quoting: Keilani Honestly, I've had a gut feeling for about a year now that commerce was going to come to a halt, even prior to COVID. It’s not entirely unusual for civilian aircraft to transport military materiel. Civilian air freight companies are sometimes engaged to augment existing military airlift capabilities or transport some kinds of freight more quickly than can be arranged via military airlift. For example, when the Canadian Army deployed to Afghanistan in 2005, a civilian air freight company was contracted to move some Canadian Army Leopard tanks there. If memory serves me, the civilian contractor used Russian-built Antonov AN-225 heavy lift aircraft to do the job. The reason why this happened is that the Canadian military had no organic airlift capability of its own to move the tanks, and the US military couldn’t spare any heavy lift aircraft to do the job. If the US military suddenly commandeers ALL the civilian freight and passenger aircraft it can get its hands on, it can only mean one thing: the US military is fully mobilizing, and we are going to war - a big war. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79866833 P.S. The bonuses will be paid out no later than the end of March. That's an interesting thread. I just learned today that my employer (very big and well-known entity) is paying annual bonuses on March 5th this year instead of mid-month as was typical for the prior 13 years I have worked there. Not a huge difference, but enough that I noticed, and was reminded of it when this crossed my radar. After the stimulus checks drop, the stock market will do a brief pop up... then it'll be like a bicycle that's still in motion after the rider has jumped off. First little bump or pebble and it's going right over. It would have tipped already IMHO except for the bonus and stimulus anticipation keeping it coasting a bit longer. Nobody panic, but do keep an eye on things and put yourself in in a defensible position. After all, a market downturn can be a great place to find good investment opportunities at fire sale prices... if you keep a clear head while others panic. |
