Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79316086 Honestly that said, i'd probably buy in at 20K(and I never would have bothered with crypto). It's all pump and dump, the peak was mid 50's, if it pulled back 50 percent I'd through a few bucks into the next pump. The trick is not being on the tail end of the final dump for this worthless digital currency(it's not the currency, but the infrastructure, power, that won't be there much longer). Ok Elonfuck. |

I was studying this tether issue yesterday. These are evil, evil people who are in charge of one of the foundations of bitcoin, the Bitfinex exchange. After reading quite a few articles, I cannot see how this whole thing is not going to blow up. I think most bitcoin investors are clueless about the tether mafia and what it will mean for bitcoin's future. |

Next target I have is $38K, with a trading bump. There will be several trading bumps along the way. Quoting: Lady Jayne Smith I expect next cycle, BTC will touch $250K, plus or minus a bit. That will not be for around another 18 months. That said, make the choices that work best for you. Peaking around aug/sept or is that already drop city? |

BTC runs in cycles of +/- 440 days. Look at all the peak/valley charts, and count the daily candles. Of course, this is BTC, so there is a substantial margin of error. ^^That^^ does not mean straight down, and straight up. There are many pumps and dumps in between. Then it ENEVIBLY GOES BACK up and, again---- SPOOFY lol This is called market trading. Its a thing and its normal. If you think for 1 second that Crypto isn't going to be the new global mode for business transactions...you are high. I bought in in 17' and haven't regretted it yet. Ya'll seem to think that everyone buys in ATH and with money they don't have. That is a sincere flaw. Many people like myself HAVE the money to invest, and if it all goes away...so be it. But the odds are on my side to at least make a little money. While some of you sit back and only criticize and declare doom and gloom. That is FUNNY to me. I agree 100%. Then you have the no coiners that think you can't convert the money made back into Dollars. They have never owned a coin in their life. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 2492899 United States 02/23/2021 11:00 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's backed by faith. People can lose faith at anytime. Like any other form of currency. They did seize gold here at one time so anything can happen. What if they just outlaw it altogether when they usher in the great reset? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79584850 Too many variables for me. It's a monetary innovation. Gold works because you can't fake it. Well, you can make counterfeit gold, but you can't create more gold. There is only so much gold available and any new gold brought to market is mined using hard work. So labor and investment needs to go into getting more of it giving it value. Every ounce of gold every mined required human labor and some equipment investment in order to dig it out and refine it. This is why it is a store of wealth...because effort was paid into it to make it available. Likewise, Bitcoin requires effort. Mining is done through large computer arrays and the cost is massive energy. Thus every BTC brought into existence and to market, was done at a cost, thus paying value into it. And like gold, and unlike fiat, you can't just make more of it. Sure, you could make another network, but the network is the valuable part. other networks are like counterfeit gold. You might fool some people for a time, but eventually, it's going to be recognized as counterfeit. People can't cheat on Bitcoin. You can't forge new counterfeit coins and governments can't print as much as they want. 21 million is all there will ever be. It's finite and deflationary in that already many BTC have been lost forever to lost keys. So this is a human created digital gold. It has many of the characteristics of gold that make it vastly superior to fiat. I still hold gold and silver, but I also see BTC as joining their ranks as an anti-fiat asset. Gold and silver have some advantages over BTC (like industrial demand and SHTF proof since it's physical) and BTC has some advantages over gold and silver (like cold storage and international transmissibility). So holding both, I can exit fiat and have parts of my wealth enjoy various different benefits. |

They LOVE 80% corrections so they can say, "I told you so!" to an audience smarter than them. And when it BOOMS, they cry, "That's what terrorists use!" Either way they are foolish and have not one thing to do other than make adolescent and naive commentary. To remove threads and posts because some mod doesn't agree is small minded. Its so sad that certain people feel like they have the right to remove ones voice. To you I say, you are small minded, close minded, and quite pathetic.
