So how to buy it? Dero specifically!

Follow these steps:

go to website coinmarketcap.com or coingecko.com
In the upper right search for the name of the coin you want
i.e. dero
the Dero page opens
scroll down to Markets, click it,
on the left will be names of exchanges that have your coin
click on one of them, go to their website
find out if you are eligible to register on their website
if not, go back and try another one
once you are registered with that exchange, find out if you can fund your account with dollars, or if you have to use a more common cryptocurrency,
if they allow dollars, you will link your bank to the exchange, transfer money to them,
once money is there you'll need to trade it for the common crypto unit that is used to trade for the coin you want: typically USDT or USDC.

Go to the exchange that lists your trading pair: i.e. DEROUSDT
trade your USDT for DERO. Now you can leave it on the exchange (not recommended) or you can withdraw it to your wallet (that is a whole new chapter)

Buy some BTC(Coinbase, etc.)
Send it over to Tradeogre
Buy Dero, Pirate Chain, etc. with the BTC
Withdraw to desktop/offline wallet

Always make a token transfer/withdrawal of a tiny amount of any crypto first before you send serious funds to make sure there are no account holds etc.
