I'm not sure about the name of the chemical that the gov't. says is okay to put in pork, but the chemical has been banned in almost all other countries worldwide....sorry I don't have the particular facts, like the name and how many countries, but it's something I saw on GLP a coupla weeks ago, and was nothing I wanted to commit to memory.
