FIRED by corporate for being white

Sounds to me like the 'customer' made an emotional plea

against this young lady, and the corporate would rather

fire her than not, because then the customer will have

"a platform" to cause an issue at this establishment

because 'they did not fire that white person' and that

could be a BIGGER NEWS STORY than they could handle.

Notice she didn't mention the retailer.

That must be because they have an agreement that if she

revealed who they were, she could be sued.

That means that even though they fired her, they gave

her something in return for leaving, a big check probably.


Trust me, I work at a company and they regularly give

people BIG CHECKS they do not deserve or earn to

keep them quiet. Doesn't matter if they were

'terminated for cause' or because they had to lay

them off. It happened to me. I was laid off, and they

cut me a check. I even said, for what? They said

I had to sign a disclaimer that I would not sue.

I said I wasn't. She said they want to make sure.

I highly doubt this claim has enough to cause someone to

be fired from---the company is just playing it safe.

Also, she is white and will find another job.

That's the way the company looks at it.

If I were her I would get a lawyer. That is if she even wants to work there anymore. I am guessing she will get a lot of job offers as this video goes viral. This could actually turn out to be a blessing for her.

It's really disappointing the company didn't stick up for their hardworking employee. Makes me not want to shop there.

I bought some samosas at the Indian Samosa place down a couple of months ago. The lady interpreted my insistence on getting a paper receipt as some sort of hostile white terrorism. One of her two daughters who was also at the store then gets in on it by not-so-subtly shifting her body, and of course, tilting her phone in my direction, to deliberately and passive aggressively let me know that she's filming the white terrorist who has the audacity of insisting on a paper receipt. The look on her face is what really leaves no doubt about how shitty and insufferable this young Indian woman really is.

Her and her daughters both then, of course, because this like literally the only strategy, exacerbated the situation by going into full-on "I'm sorry? I don't know what you mean" mode as phone daughter continues to make a grand display of how she's subtly stick her camera in my face.

It's just funny to watch these racist minorities make asses of themselves. They think the news is going to protect them in perpetuity. Who cares.

As is true of most threads on topics like this one, the race, age, sex, looks, dress, hair, etc, of a person or people are focused upon but the politics of everyone is sidestepped.

Small-business owners may like doing transactions under the table in order to avoid dealing with sales taxes. So if they receive money for you for some item they're selling, they can keep ALL the dollars and not have to dole some of them out to local/state government.

It's corrupt, but so are many of today's branches of government too, particularly in blue states and blue cities.
