Minnesota had agreed to give George Floyds family 27 million citing wrongful death. Quoting: Osmium76 So now what happens If the court of legal justice finds Derek Chauvin innocent and dismisses the charges? The drug use of George Floyd may play a significant factor in that. If the charges are dropped, then this settlement is a joke. People die in all the time under similar circumstance and the families of the deceased are NOT typically compensated for those deaths. This will be interesting to keep an eye on. city's in America after the not guilty verdict? |

Dude was in his car doing a drug deal minutes after passing a counterfeit bill. You can see him swallow a bag of white powder. You can see a crack/meth pipe pulled from his pocket. He said he couldn't breathe while he was still in his own car. |

It's obvious that this is being set up this way on purpose. I just don't see how they can pay money out for a wrongful death settlement, when the accused hasn't even has his day in court. That's pure B.S. right there. It's obvious George Floyd killed himself. George Floyd's drug use could play a significant role in ex-officer Derek Chauvin's trial [link to news.yahoo.com (secure)] |

He was likely already a dead man from the drugs he swallowed. I guess we will find out soon enough. |

What do they care about law. Laws are unjust and oppressive. Typically only criminals feel that way. Without laws, there is chaos. Look around you, it's everywhere. Only going to get worse, because people don't like accountability. Why do you think abortion is so popular. Easier to kill a child than feed, shelter and take care of one for 18 years. |

So this why we need due process instead of law and order and we need protection against people who were wronged by the system. |
