it didn't matter which race it was.... the people in same-race neighborhoods did better in every conceivable way.

less violence
higher-paying jobs
more satisfaction in life
longer life


etc.

I don't recall the name of the scientist Derbyshire was writing about, but he WAS a Nobel prize winner.


and his findings about single-race communities doing better sank his academic career.
