Not only a clown government, but 100% ineffective at governing anymore.

It's always been bad, but it at at the point where it is purely about power and implementing competing philosophies depending on who is in power.

And even with one party or the other in power, the power that they hold, or think they hold, is minimal, given that the military industrial complex is essentially an independent branch of government without any oversight that is more powerful that all of the other branches combined.

Anything that could need to be done, can be done within it, with a massive arsenal of methods.

Until that unravels, nothing will change.
