Trying to get a tooth pulled by visiting a young Dentist is like trying to book a flight to Mars
For 30 years, I had the same Dentist and he was a retired Army Captain. He was a no bullshit General Dentist, a this is what you need done, lay back in the chair, let's go type of guy and I never had a problem.

I need a tooth pulled.

I make the appointment. First appt was a dental tech and x ray tech to tell me I needed my tooth pulled. Second appt was a General Dentist whose only job was to see me for two minutes and tell me I needed my tooth pulled and he would set me up with a periodontist. Third appointment was supposed to be with the periodontist, tech came out again and asked if I was sure I didn't want an implant. Fourth appointment 30 minutes I am once again being sold an implant and this rotten tooth is still in my head, so I just got up and left the office.

These are all young people under 30, I dont know what the fuck they think they are doing.

Watch the movie Idiocracy.
It’s a horror comedy.
And basically what we are living in. Automation, robots are extreme advanced, only a small part of the population has to do any form of productive work....

The more formally „educated“, the worse.
Just look at all these doctors injecting mRNA poison.
Or NASA double masking and half their team working on gender issues instead of rockets...

Just tell them to do the fastest most expensive thing they can do to fix it, and you'll be home in time for dinner...

If you have insurance, tell them to max it out and then add 10% for themselves...

Call down to a boxing gym and ask.
We aren't cut out to be socialists. We are the people who couldn't be constrained by Europe. We are the malcontents, idealists, speculators, dreamers, inventors, debtors and criminals who would not be chained. We don't play well with others, we are brash, outlandish and cunning. let us do what we do best; let us be Americans.

I know exactly what you mean

It feels like a Mandella effect, where one year a patient could go visit any strip mall dentist and get a tooth pulled for $70

Now it's a whole song and dance, that somehow costs two grand and the patient still has a rotten tooth in their mouth

Mine made me get a root canal on my back tooth that I barely have room for in the first place. She refused to pull it. Of course she did - the root canal earned her a few grand more than a simple extraction would have.

Eh...I guess I'm still glad to have all my teeth, though.
Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

dentists like making money and an extraction is one of the cheapest options on the menu, the omelette of dental work.

Exactly the same happening here.

If you by chance comes into the office of a young one

turn in the door

because they will only hurt you more

"temporary fillings" on a rotten tooth

and endless visits to different places

never ever let them do root fillings

Re: Trying to get a tooth pulled by visiting a young Dentist is like trying to book a flight to Mars
Last year when all this started I broke a tooth and it would have been easy enough to fix

Rang for an emergency appointment and the receptionist booked me in for a week later

Needless to say the tooth had to be removed , the dentist even said if I had got there quicker he could have saved it

Recently my son , (18) decided he wanted to try to close the slight gap in his front teeth , he saw the dentist who said he needed to see the Orthodontist - fair enough , so we booked an appointment for the following week to see this person

Walked into his appointment and it was the same dentist he saw previously - so , I said to her we were here to see the Orthodontist and she replied that it was her ...

(my son has autism that's why I was in there with him)

Anyway , she looked at his teeth and started going on about how he could have this brace to close the gap and also he would possibly need the two teeth either side of the front teeth veneered as they looked a bit smaller.....er???

But the best one was when she told my son that he would need the back teeth SHAVED - she went on to explain that she would grind them down as they might feel too 'big' in his mouth when he has the brace

Then gave us a quote of 6.5k

Righto......

Remember I said he was autistic ? Well , he has Asperger's and the drive home was hilarious as he went into minute detail of how she would be able to SHAVE HIS FUCKING TEETH

It gets better

She RANG me at hom asking if my son would like to make the appointment to start the ball rolling.....wtf?

When did a dentist EVER ring you to make appointments , so I just said he was snowed under with finishing his college work and he would get back to her if he deceided to go ahead with the work

Is this our new 'normal'
