I've been thinking about why I may be floored by this, and some others are not.

It's probably because I'm older, and I sure as hell remember a time when a Congress person speaking like that would've never even happened.

Call me gullible, perhaps, but I thought for sure she was going to get the ax for this, and by a wide range of vote.

Someone just told me there are other resolutions being drafted to go after her....but where are they going to be heard and voted on?

The clip I saw was the judge stating to the court that what Maxine waters did may give Chauvin ammunition to overturn the verdict upon appeal.......

but I personally think it was impossible for Chauvin to get a fair trial.....with all of the attention, press, threats of mobs looting and burning etc... then even the president was quoted as saying he hoped the jury reaches the "right" verdict...Not a fair verdict, the "right" one...which everyone knows he meant a gulity verdict.

So was the verdict fair and based upon the facts of the case not feelings and not because of the threats of mob violence if the verdict was an acquittal?

And yes, the book should have been thrown at Waters, people of low degree, and low character like her do not belong in politics period.
