Holy cow, what a great recipe. Thanks for posting this, OP. I came across this feller's channel a few weeks ago searching for a stinging nettle recipe (he had one, obviously.) But now after watching this I have subscribed to the channel. Even though Youtube is going downhill like Bill Cosby's last date on a greased-up bobsled, I'm glad to have an account just for awesome content like this.

Maybe this thread isn't about "conspiracies", but it sure does give great information & techniques for living the so-called simple life, which may well come in handy one of these days.

And even if the hard times don't come, I'm still going to try making 1736-style fried chicken!

His channel is great.

A few years ago he was upset because after posting some 18th century orange drink recipe he came under heavy fire from angry Trump fans!

True story

lmao

Just imagine, it probably goes back to the 1600s or even hundreds of years earlier. Who knows?

Original recipe!

Proof that the ancient Romans ate Original Recipe fried chicken thousands of years ago.

Parthian fried chicken from thousands of years ago included garum.

The Romans loved their savory garum.

Garum fried chicken?

I think there was always tried chicken. It's so simply delicious. Romans grilled and baked chicken. They tried fish and squid. Why wouldn't they they fry CHI ken?
