I did this...50 ways. But there is no way I'd switch to a bug diet. That'd be silly. I've eaten bugs, dog and cat, etc. But prefer veal (parmesan) and slow cooked meats to make carnitas from. Eating bugs for pleasure, yep. Eating bugs because I am forced to? No fucking way. I like wild boar and bison too much.

Cook it up in some OLD Bay seasoning and probably a lot like crawfish.

Drink enough beer with it and it becomes palatable. :)

I will not willingly defile my body by eating bugs. Not saying one can’t, not saying they have no nutritional value, not saying I wouldn’t eat them if starving.

I am saying I’m a human being, and unless there are no other meat eating options, I will not be eating bugs!

On the other hand, if things turned really bad, if no animals were available
for the table, and I were desperately starving, eating a liberal vegan would rate highly on my list over eating bugs. Of course I’d seek one that had not been covid vaccinated for obvious reasons

Science tells us we are genetically very near that of a pig, with just a few genetic markers making the difference.

With enough smoke and seasonings, I’m betting a vegan would taste very similar to a thick pork stake right off the grill..
