Demond Goudy was awaiting trial in multiple felony cases at the time of the alleged murder, including robbery and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Goudy, 21, is the 19th person charged with killing, trying to kill, or shooting someone in Chicago this year while awaiting trial in other felony cases.
