Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78373003 Growing up as a kid, it would signify the end of the school year..summer break..hot days/nights..and watching Olympics usually with my brother and dad. I would literally count down the days to the Opening Ceremonies..and watch every night until the end. Now? I don't even care they're going to be taking place in a couple months. Hell they're probably cancel them again due to some terror event or COVID resurgence. What's my point? Everything sucks today. All good memories of old are forever GONE. Burn it all with fire. OP the Olympics were one of the first things of excellence to go. I grew up watching Wide World of Sports and loved the Olympics of the earlier, better time. The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat. I stopped watching it years ago except for a few opening and closing ceremonies. |

So many good boxing matches were on regular teevee. Now it's a shitshow! |
