Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78049307 Maybe someone can explain? Red Cross says you can't donate plasma if vaccinated. Doesn't that mean that the vaccine is therefore in your bloodstream? Or is there something else going on here that they're not saying regarding the plasma donation process and the vaccines? Clotting? That's a really good question. My husband used to donate plasma until they said we couldn't. We were stationed in Europe during the mad cow outbreak. They still won't let us donate. I don't know what they're not telling us, but you hit the nail on the head. Simplified, when you donate plasma, they take the blood, separate it and put the blood(minus the plasma) back in. I've never done this, but that's the way he described it to me. |

User ID: 2229693 United States 06/17/2021 06:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | blood donation shortage when people find out they can get 'infected blood' if they need a transfusion! They, in my opinion, are really teetering on outright disinformation according to common sense and being informed from all the 'issues' that have come to light. We certainly are aware that it IS entering the bloodstream and causing organ damage and more adverse reactions that could only come from it being where it shouldn't. Talk to your family members, if anyone is needing a transfusion, have them donate for YOU SPECIFICALLY! That is if no one got the vax. That's what I've told my sons. We only use our blood for our issues---never trust the medical hospitals. If I had to venture a guess---someone will come out as a whistleblower disputing what they are saying now! People can't be this naïve believing this horseshit! Living has taught me one thing; nothing is certain...except salvation through Jesus Christ! |

Not saying it’s not a threat. But it doesn’t get injected into the bloodstream. There is no blood in the muscle? Millions of capillaries lead into the main arteries and veins, so that IS into the bloodstream. |

Is this a slip of the tongue where OOOPS they accidently told us that because they know the virus never enter the blood. Therefore they know what it really is and not what we were told? someting wong |

Not saying it’s not a threat. But it doesn’t get injected into the bloodstream. There is no blood in the muscle? Millions of capillaries lead into the main arteries and veins, so that IS into the bloodstream. At rest, skeletal muscle blood flows may be 1-4 ml/min per 100g; maximal blood flows may reach 50-100 ml/min per 100g depending upon the muscle type. Therefore, blood flow can increase 20 to 50-fold with maximal vasodilation or active hyperemia. [link to www.cvphysiology.com (secure)] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78049307 06/17/2021 06:26 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The only thing I can think of is that whoever tweeted that either isn't very smart, or is very smart and is intentionally using semantics to hide something. I guess since the actual vaccine itself from the vial is intramuscular and not intravenous it's technically not going into the bloodstream, but the antibodies or whatever the vaccine is supposed to make definitely enter the bloodstream, otherwise how would it work? |

Just like I logically thought. My point is other people should think that right? Its almost like DUH'! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78049307 06/17/2021 06:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Also what, exactly, supposedly poses no safety risks to the recipient? The blood or the vaccine? That whole tweet is just a clusterfuck of quickly typed out canned responses full of misinformation, at the very least, and other organizations seem to be somewhat wishy-washy as well. Thing is, a lot of people who donate plasma, do it (in addition to the extra cash of course) for the greater good and to help others. Seems to me a large percentage of these people would be/are getting vaccinated. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78564762 Iceland 06/17/2021 06:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Wouldn't it have to be in the bloodstream to be in plasma? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78049307 Am I missing something here? You are missing nothing. You in fact, hit the nail on the head. Plasma is the liquid of the blood, with the antibodies you have, with the blood platelets removed and put back into your body. I donated plasma like 500 times when I was a broke teenager. This is what plasma centers collect blood for. For the antibodies you possess. Saying it's not in the blood is absolutely clownworld. By it's very definition, antibodies are in the blood. Antibodies are in the plasma. So if this injection is creating antibodies, congrats, that's in the plasma. |
