Re: What's for dinner tonight?
I'm on the FODMAP diet. I'm having a piece of rock fish and sauteed spinach, both only with butter and pink salt.

It's a good thing I do love-love fish and shellfish, and I think I'm going to turn into a spinach plant, I've been eating it by the huge handfuls. Love the spinach, like crazy.

I know my dinner sounds boring to most, but I assure you it will be tasty....hf

I love fish and seafood. I wish my kids did and I would make it more often. Is that some kind of low carb diet?

It's a diet that's easy on the digestive tract. I had a run in with ulcerative colotis two weeks ago. Gotta go gluten free, lactose free, and gassy vegie free...sugar free. No onions, no garlic. I've spent $200 replacing food the past two weeks....this is how much I DO NOT want another run in with ulcerative colitis.....damned

It really is a good thing I like fish and shellfish and spinach and roasted carrots so much, because those are getting me through without a peep one from my gut.

It really is amazing how much better ones GI life can be when they're eating right for themselves.....ohyeah

Sounds like something my hubby would like. No gravy tonight though. Just tomato sauce and ketchup for the kids. Mmm. Now I'm hungry for gravy. Maybe tomorrow night.

Oh man. Sorry bout that. What causes ulcerative Colitis? I'm in this fasting and autophagy group. It's suppose to heal your body of damn near everything. Perhaps it would work for that.

Eating some dairy with spinach or just putting some lemon juice on it helps to move the oxalates through the body. Do this with all oxalate foods. Steaming them also puts oxalates in the water so less gets into you.
