It could be bad for either house if it fell. Fortunately for me it's leaning slightly in his direction. It wouldn't hurt to add a webbing strap to the tree as high as easily attached, to a ground anchor, and direct the tree to where you want it to go, rather than leave it to chance where it will go. It's on my neighbor's property. I don't think he'd be ok with me making sure it falls on his house. "Honey, that young man with all the telescopes is in our yard strapping something to that old tree..."
