This is actually the most important early warning you'll ever get, and yet literally nobody is interested.
Delta bypasses the vaccine AT LEAST 50% of the time, and I'm not even sure it works at all. There's only a possibility that it reduces severity once infected, the data isn't out yet on that.
Both vaccinated and unvaccinated will be getting extremely sick from Delta, and its properties are different than the original strain too.
Welcome to year 2 of the misery and suffering, hopefully year 3 will be handled better. Deglobalization is the future, this country can't afford what's about to happen, and nothing can stop it now, with it making up 50% of all US cases, and 25% of all cases in NYC.
What you're about to see is just going to be absolutely brutal and ruthless, and you're at risk too. If you haven't already had the original strain of Covid, you're in a whole lot of trouble, as that produces antibodies to the core of the virus that the scientists have no idea how to produce with their vaccines. You'll still get sick though, but it's going to be 1/100th the severity.
Delta is about to slaughter a ton of people, and Joe didn't do enough to sufficiently handle this and stop it from coming to the US.
Another thing too, Delta is sneaky, it's modified itself to 'camouflage' its effects until it starts killing you, your smell doesn't typically get blown out by this one either so you don't have that tell tale sign that you have it.
The party just ended, and in several months from now, it's going to be a nightmare that nobody expected, in both the vaccinated, and unvaccinated who haven't already had Covid.
Look at the rise in daily cases to be certain of this, we already hit 35,000, and once you see it go to 50,000 and above, this country is in more trouble than it's going to know how to handle.
Pfizer needs authorization to create a 'booster' shot, which is nowhere near ready yet, and how many would even want it?
