I live about 20ish miles North of Portland up I-5 and I go into Portland occasionally to buy things or for whatever. But after the last couple of times, I am starting to avoid it at all costs. I will just pay Washington sales tax and stay the hell out of that cesspool. Plus downtown Vancouver is starting to develop nicely. Was up in Seattle this past weekend. Popped up out of the light rail station in Pioneer Square and I really wish that I had been packing. It was a sketch shithole, tents, bums, rough looking hoods. I was also up in Capitol hill, same story. Seattle used to be a cool city, but it too is a shit hole now. People just flipping out and saying/screaming random shit, mixed with random acts of grossness. You can see the violence in their eyes just boiling waiting to come out.
