Re: The XRP Investor Thread
I've decided to spend this imaginary windfall by providing toys to young children. I think useful playtime, during developmental stages, has been completely lost, thus violence starts earlier.

They will be mostly wooden toys made by people in America.
 Quoting: pool

pool, funny you should say that. I've been thinking about how my grandmother always gave us educational toys, throughout our childhoods.

Some were from Europe.

I remember a catalog of educational toys - that's pretty ancient history.

But yes, books and educational things - I was very fortunate.

That's a good thing to be thinking about, things that help the development of skills and knowledge in children.

It's not even that they don't get exposed to the best things - it's also that they get exposed to so much bad stuff, with nothing to balance it out.

Couple of people above mentioning setting up foundations, charitable trusts, S corps, etc.

Mark J Kohler is the go-to guy for straight up information about trusts and capital gains taxes, etc. and how to structure assets for the best protection.

He is really good. I need to get all his books. Until I can do that though, I should binge watch his videos again.

Sometimes if you just have things on in the background a lot while you're doing other things, like working in the kitchen, you pick up vocabulary and concepts just by repetition.

Here's his videos page, I can't pick and choose.

That does suck, I hope you can get the help you need soon.

In the meantime here's the Earth Clinic page for pain,
don't know if there might be anything useful?

That's been a helpful site for me since someone posted it on GLP aeons ago. It's all people writing in from all over the world, saying what home remedies they tried and what worked and what didn't.

CB line graph is showing an additional ~25% over the numerical balance, in my account. I've sent them an email. They are not tracking accurately. And, yeah I'm that honest to say, it's not my money.

I know I'm getting way ahead of myself but I do have the question of financial advisors that understand and/or specialize in crypto.

Can anyone suggest if there is a good source to finding advisors in their area? Searching for my area is not offering much.

My opinion is we're too early for that. It's all to our advantage to be this early.

A lot of aspects of crypto are under NDAs right now.

Until mass adoption and utility, it's all speculative, and a certified financial advisor probably isn't going to touch it.

And the companies that are set up to for instance, hold your IRA in crypto - I would probably give it a miss for now.

The best advice I would give you is to really do a lot of research on your own, and find someone who is "speaking your language" someone who you like their style and approach, on youtube or twitter or something, and if they have a Patreon group or paid other type of group, get in a private group.

If you go on other platforms and discuss crypto in public channels, you will be swarmed with scams and bots.

But in a paid private group you can have some level of trust.

At this point though I would say the safest thing is what I heard from the very beginning - hold assets with utility and partnerships - such as, the topic of this thread, XRP - and hold your assets under your own private keys, not on an exchange.

Hold and wait.

If you want to trade, set some aside for that, but don't touch your main bags.

I am not a financial advisor. This is not financial advice.

Some good channels to watch, not necessarily crypto specific

Excellent advice, thank you. Fyi, was just starting to think about that, am not looking to reach out to anyone yet for my bag of ~.30 coins. :)

Was able to get in 48 hrs. of overtime recently. Waiting patiently to buy in more and hoping for a nice big crash washout event! I am thinking we could see XRP could crash to ~.20 levels?

Do you have limit orders placed?

You might not be able to get on exchanges to make a purchase if there is a crash - there might be so many people trying to do it at once that the exchange will crash.

This video, while it is geared to buying Reaper RPR, explains how you can buy directly on the Sologenic DEX (Decentralized EXchange), you could buy XRP directly on the DEX using the method he outlines here, by interfacing with XUMM wallet.

You can place limit orders on Sologenic DEX.

I have not held a USD stablecoin in XUMM - which you would need to do to fund the limit order - I was placing limit orders for RPR using XRP to fund those.

Anyway -

Anybody waiting for a flash crash is going to miss out.

The big crash will coincide with internet/power outages.

Nothing to do at that point but sit and wait.

XRP is literally 30 freaking cents. Time is running out.

That's what I think too. The price will go down from here, but maybe the best strategy is to buy some every day.

But seriously - if your bags aren't packed, at least make sure you have half of your target number now?

Not financial advice of course.

My XRP bags were packed long ago with a DCA under .25

Today's price is a great price if you have funds to buy with.

I am not a financial advisor.

i think the point was when XRP will be down and people will want to buy their big bag, it might not be possible because websites/services will be down. and when they go back online it might be too late.

Well, was planning to buy with CC card through Uphold to be able to move it off immediately. Can't set limit order when using CC card. Have always bought and the price then goes down, for once would like to buy low lol.

Thinking that when it does go to approx .20-.25 to buy in then, not expecting things to be in a meltdown. Will watch the vid you posted, Vision Thing.
