Quoting: TlvmmCpoft But am I just remembering wrong that there was a small boy who came after them, or with them, and brought something much, much less expensive because it was all he had? And if I'm not just remembering wrong, what did he bring? Wrong. That would be the 'little drummer boy', a TV creation. |

I don't know what lies they told you, but I can promise they were lies. There's a fine line between training, trauma, and torture. |

What's up with that? Quoting: GoneWithTheWind 14839880 His adoptive father Joseph was technically the legal king They were humble which is why they were chosen, speaking of Joseph and Mary |

That seems to be where the star and moon symbol got its origins, later to become the symbol of Islam. We aren't cut out to be socialists. We are the people who couldn't be constrained by Europe. We are the malcontents, idealists, speculators, dreamers, inventors, debtors and criminals who would not be chained. We don't play well with others, we are brash, outlandish and cunning. let us do what we do best; let us be Americans. |

And if I'm not just remembering wrong, what did he bring? no where in the Bible does it say THREE probably there were a few and they traveled in a small force w possibly hundreds of troops...they were Levites from Parthia, a fierce kingdom in Persia even the Romans could not defeat... otherwise Herod--not known to be a great guy--would have had them arrested and tortured for the truth... as for the boy...don't remember a boy...there were shepherds...some could have been young no other gifts are spoken of other than gold, frankincense and myrrh... which is where the notion of 3 dudes all by themselves comes from maybe there were only 3 wise men--possibly from the lost tribe of Levi, taken into Babylon hundreds of years prior...awaiting the coming King...sent to anoint the Christ . |
