Sorry about your situation, but here's how to fix it:

Leave the country and then return ILLEGALLY with one of the many caravans flowing across our borders daily.

OR

Claim that you now identify as the opposite sex, that you're on the lgbtq spectrum sexually, AND change your name, race etc.

Become a whole new person.

When things settle down, decide that you want to go back to your original gender, choose to be straight again and get another new identity.

Take advantage of the clown world we're living in while you can.

I had 180k of unsecured college debt basically... forgotten about after they tried to collect for 7 years.

The procedure is called "debt verification" and it means that you will request the paperwork with your original signature in ink. Not photocopy not digital signature... those mean nothing in court (how could they? its easily faked).

This is essentially the scam a lot of indians and pakistanis run when they come to USA, max out credit cards, open 7/11. Go to court - refuse to pay until promissory agreement is provided by lander. No such thing exists - unless you did sign a paper when applying for credit card.

There is will be a lot of phone calls from a lot of assholes trying to collect, but if you cease and desist them and use FDCPA as your protection - they can just send a letter.

I had a 3 stage process - 3 letters. One nastier than the other. Picked it up from some british website around 2011.

It was essentially (i summarize)

Letter 1:

"I'll pay everything back! Prove you own the loan by sending notarized copy of original promissory note!"

Regardless of what they sent, step 2

Letter 2:
"I have not received certified copy of original promissory note from you! Please send asap!"

They might or might not send anything again. Irrelevant.

Letter 3:
"I believe you're trying to defraud me, cease and desist all communication, further contact will be billed at $1000 per hour it takes me to respond to you. By contacting me further you agree to this tacit agreement"

Then if they call or send anything again send them bills for your time.

I did this with 2 initial student lenders... also reported one of them to BBB for fraud. They immediately sold off the loans... and about 20 trash tier lenders later they gave up.

This can only be used on private loans with no ink signature. Federal student loans for example or loans with ink signature note - you can't do this on.

It can in most cases. Do your best to avoid them going for a judgement. Move to a different state if you need to.

You can only max out and cash out when your elderly and close to death, then you wont have much time left to suffer the earthly consequences, however you'll still have to pay the devil for the sin of stealing when your in hell because the bankers made a deal and they can still collect beyo0nd this world ;p

Having shitty credit is great for self discipline. The credit card companies lose NOTHING if you don’t pay, except the interest. The original $$ was created out of thin air.

Good legal advice above with letters, and here’s a thought for going forward. Don’t buy stuff unless you can pay for it. If we all just followed that rule the bankers would starve and we would be back to actual sanity

may i suggest take advantage of internet offer of 10000 loans get the money let them worry bout collecting the 100000 they will charge you for it

Either get a new job and pay them or face bad credit. If you don’t give a shit about your credit (worrying about credit in a country who just had their election stolen seems silly to me) then don’t pay them for I believe it is 4 months (can’t remember exactly might be 6 months) and after that they will call it a charge off and you can work out a plan to pay them a percentage of the total amount. It will screw up your credit but then they won’t take you to court or garnish your wages. Say if you owe them $5000 after 4-6 months they might take less than $1500 to pay off the debt in total.

Just file for bankruptcy. As long as you don't have student loans you will be safe.

Yep. File bankruptcy, once it's over you will start getting credit card offers right away. They don't make any money if you are not in debt. If not, just stop paying them. There is nothing they can do, after bothering you for a few months they will just write off the debt.

do what all Multi-Corporations and Big Banks do,

Declare Bankruptcy

go to Bankruptcy Court and tell them you got fired and can't pay your credit card bills
and need to use Government money to live;

I did, and after maybe another question or two, (if that)
they said 'Passed'
and the Bailiff handed me some papes and then said 'Next';

and that was it,
and in a couple of years, get a $1,5oo loan from the bank,
after you buy a $1,500 CD,

and pay it off and you'll have credit again;

meanwhile, soon after filing Bankruptcy,
'They' will be sending you more new credit cards;
get one with $0.00 yearly fee,
they'll give you a $300 starting card;

get a couple of those,

and your credit will soar back to a respectable height;

like someone said,
'Have fun with this clown world we live in while you can,

but there's money to be had from so many government organizations,
that if people walk around homeless, it's truly on them,
because there's programs for the poor;

just keep a laptop and pay your electric bill and look it all up;

there a program for everyone willing to do the work and look for it;

HUD will give you money to buy a house,etc.
of course it's different for every situation,

but you can get out of poverty and have a roof over your head and a fridge full of food
and a place to rest your head at night;

$70 a month is a lot of money. When I was dirt poor I cut shit like that off and went to the pawn shop bought $1 seasons of my fav shows and movies on rerun, then next paycheck I’d buy next months entertainment

Oh and I was so poor I combed my hair with a fork and used a hammer and flathead screwdriver to open canned goods because I was saving every penny for rent so I wouldn’t get evicted

I married my wife 13 years ago and she had tons of debt, unsecured. she tried to pay it down for 10 years and finally just declared bankruptcy. Her name was not on the house or any assets. She walked away from 60,000 of debt, Bank of America was the biggest loser, my heart bleeds piss for BofA. Fuck all banks, they deserve to lose some of their ill gotten fiat currency.
