What will you be remembered for?

Some great replies. Many get it, it’s how we treated people that defines how any of our loved ones or acquaintance will remember us, and they will remember until they too pass on. Seems the more pain you cause someone, the more they will remember you in a negative way and the more peace and joy you cause someone, they will hold that as the best of memories.

Most here on glp, have some sweet sentiments and of course the grumpy crowd pisses and moans that isn’t doesn’t matter. Life, how we live it, how we treat others does matter. As someone else pointed out, it’s a ripple effect. What we do in life, echoes in eternity.

Stop being so negative while you’re still alive. It matters.

It seems those who do want to make an impact and leave a lasting memory of themselves, are the ones fu#king up this reality.


Just imagine if people wanted to simply experience instead of changing everything to suit their fear of death.

We were never meant to leave this world, fading away into obscurity.

Of course if you disagree, please enlighten me on your own view point.

If we are an immortal soul, there should be no attachment after we leave this material world. The only attachment left are those who still draw breath, feeling sorry for themselves. I would imagine the dead don't care. The living are the ones carrying around self pity.

Do you/will you remember family and loved ones when they die?

I’m not talking about any such thing.

Perhaps you are projecting what YOU swill be remembered for.

Seems to me people still get stumped by this question.

It’s about how you treated people and the impact of your actions upon others. The things you said and the things you didn’t say. Some of you will be cherished, others will be long forgotten and a sigh of relief breathed from those you hurt.

No matter what, when you pass on, someone will remember you and how your actions and words impacted them. For better or worse. So be a caring, gentle, selfless being while you’re still here, it can have a positive impact on the people around you.

In the future people will receive messages from Heaven that they have to write down and pass on in the form of "Mythology". Its about the spiritual battle we are now fighting in the higher heavens. And i will be in it.

I hope you pass away too.

Kinda sad because other than my husband and immediate family I've already outlived most of the people whose opinions of me mattered. Especially sad because I'm "only" 70, but until I settled down I ran with the kind of crowd that doesn't much live to see old age. Those who have only known me for the last 35 years remember an entirely different person and a better one, I hope.
