Said screw it to a 20-year high-paying career (against heaps of unsolicited advice), quit and wrote a book. I published it though a small publishing house in my state. Young-adult thriller, wove in family lore and stories. Although it’s financially daunting, I like not working for anyone else and not having to suck up to vile people daily. And who knows, maybe some kid decades from now will stumble across a copy and read it. That’s enough for me right now.
