I think there is a big difference between challenging the government and over throwing the government. Many speak against the government and work for change. In fact many on this forum openly defy the government and speak for change.
A real police state would have shut this forum down long ago.
This does not mean that I do not believe that we are not in danger of becoming a police state. I just do not agree that we are one.

There is no need to "shut down the forum" because we play nice and self censor... If we stopped doing that, the forum WOULD get shut down... Which is why the mods would squelch it. And we all know that's true. And that IS big brother watching. Get over the "it can't happen here" mentality, it IS happening here.
