Under the Equality Act 2010 it is unlawful to harass or discriminate against somebody in the workplace in relation to their “religion or belief”. Religion or belief is one of nine “protected characteristics” covered under the Equality Act.
The legal definition of “religion” is fairly uncontroversial whereas the legal definition of “belief” continues to be a topical subject. In 2010, the Employment Appeal Tribunal set out guidance to consider when assessing whether somebody holds a ‘philosophical belief’. The guidance stipulates that for a person to hold such a belief, the belief has to meet the following conditions:
* it must be a genuinely held belief;
* not an opinion or viewpoint based on the present state of information available;
* it must be a belief in respect of a weighty and substantial aspect of human life and behaviour;
* it must attain a certain level of cogency, seriousness, cohesion and importance; and

Yeah I have no doubt there are laws relevant to all this but what I am saying is that now we have gone beyond laws and rules. Where before they kept up the pretence that there were laws, now they have dropped that pretence and they will either talk around it or just pass a new emergency law.
The mask starting come off now and people need to stop thinking they can get justice through the courts, they can't and in truth never could.

They skipped them, at least mostly, because the animals were dying from the shots. But they did skip them.

This line is being damaged in America too. In NY State, every K-12 student must have the full schedule of childhood vaccinations, unless there's a medical reason. Religious exemption no longer accepted, and no private school is exempt either. All K-12 schools, public or private, must require all the vaxes.

The excuse for this was a fairly harmless measles outbreak in certain communities that don't like vaccinations very much. The state decided to "protect" them even though they didn't want such "protection". It was passed thru both houses of the legislature and signed by the governor in one day, because they knew the people didn't want this law.

Still fucking illegal. No law trumps the first amendment. If my kids were there I would tell them to go to hell. And then file a lawsuit for deprivation of due process and ask for the settlement to include no longer having to pay local property taxes, which goes to the school.
