Yup. The closer to the speed of light you get the faster you travel into the future. Traveling backwards is theoretically possible but highly unlikely with our current technology and understanding of physics. But we do have existing technology to send you a few decades into the future, possibly more.

How to time travel...

Use super =-powerful magnets to bend a powerful laser into a corkscrew called a "ring Laser". Bombard the photons in this ring laser with sub-atomic particles with complex masses and gluons, a sub-atomic particle which will attach itself to both the photons and the particle with the complex mass.
