As many of you know there has been an outbreak on the north shore. I flew to Oahu on Thursday and was planning on returning back to Kauai on Sunday. I was notified Friday that I was named as a close contact of someone who has tested positive for COVID. Long story short I was placed on a no fly list until august 13 (this Friday) but received an email saying it could take up to 48 hours to remove my name from the list. I’m trying to schedule my flight for Saturday afternoon but have never dealt with this before and not sure if my name will be removed in time for my flight. We are living in a different version of 1939. The EUA for the PCR test has been rescinded, but will not go into effect until the end of the year. This is to get various jurisdictions to find better tests that actually work. So it seems official the PCR test is unreliable. Except for mine, tested negative. |
