Just because YOU don’t believe
in the Rougarou; or the Loup Garou, don’t make you safe; No !

The Constitution is a blend of 'moral certitude' -- which is one of the reasons that criminals are determined to be rid of it and We the People must be even more determined to defend it.

The only thing the Illuminati fears is an independent person who can live, eat, sleep, stay warm and defend themselves separate from Federal help. Pray that the Lord gives us more time! The End is near and time is short!

A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion. ~Proverbs 18:2

For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible

There are a lot of minerals in Russia.
The problem is to get and process it.
The lack of highways, permafrost, strong temperature changes, huge distances make it less cost-effective than in other places of the planet

You mean no one wants to live in Siberia?

chuckle

I will note, that I have experienced some of those winters. I will pass, it would take a lot of money to get me there. I also can completely understand the logistics of a country the length of Russia, because I have seen some of it.

Most people haven't.

Russia is huge.

If the world 'warms up' it will definitely be in Russia's favor. Of course, then you will have to change your cultures ever so cheerful mindset...

dangit, can't find the right phrase, she always had such cheerful proverbs.

and no, my Russian is crap, mostly curious if the sight shows it at all.

Minerals are all over the damn planet.

they are just easier to find where the crust has been brought up by giant mountain ranges. They are also only found when someone looks for them.

If nobody samples an area, they don't find anything, because they didn't look. :)

Same thing happened with oil.
1970, oh no, we are running out of oil very soon!

A couple years later, well, we hit some huge deposits in the Gulf and Alaska. No worries about oil for another 100 years.

If the world has cheap lithium from just a few mines, there is no incentive to go looking for more now is there?
