I think mass psychosis is definitely going on all around us, but its just another "symptom" This all still is a carefully put together plan. Like some kind of dark force making there move. Alot of people think it's for money but the Uber rich, have been rich there whole lives and don't worry about money. At the end of the day a rich persons house is just a roof and walls. Yes it's way nicer but it's all the same. So what do these people want? Power and control are what I keep coming back to. Power to wipe out huge chunks of the population if need be. Control of the population through fear. Fear is played 24/7 through the news channels they own and mass psychosis is a symptom. I chose not to participate, I used to be consumed with fear but after putting alot of thought into it I realized if you don't play the game they can't mess with you. I wish everyone else would wake up and stop playing as well. Until then whoever is pulling the strings is still in control.

I can't speak for someone else but they are probably speaking of the Salem with trials, many women were accused of being witches and killed, this happened all over the world and is a clear example of mass psychosis. Not to mention German during WW2. There are many other examples.
