This has been backed up for months. I'm a wholesale Sports MFG's Rep. I represent 30+ Major sports merchandise companies. 75% of Licensed sports items come from China.

One of my best sellers is a item called teenymates. NFL collectible of the year six years in a row. The new series has always been rolled out first week of June for the upcoming season. The Mfg has had a container sitting outside the port for a month ,and told one more month before it gets unloaded!!!

This isnt news... this has been going on for almost a year. Check out how many ships are sitting off the port of Oakland, Stockton and Seattle.

Started back in Trump times, but has nothing to do w the Pres. They need workers to unload and transport them. Rona threw a wrench at all of this and shows the problems with JIT ordering/delivery.

I live very near the port and have lots of friends that work there. Ships have been backed up for well over a year. There are so many that they are stacked miles away from the port. Nobody knows what is going on. There are plenty of workers ready and willing to unload. Those workers are very highly paid. Somebody is controlling this. This is planned.

Yeah I am thinking the next attack on us will be a lack of everything just to destroy the economy even more. Businesses need their goods to survive without them they close up...

As for Seattle I was there a few weeks ago and I saw 3 empty cargo ships in the harbor... not a single full one in sight as we flew in from the North and departing again later to the South.

SEA has nothing backed up.

Highly suspect!

The problem isn't just the ships backed up but there are no chassis available for the trucking companies to haul them out. There is at least a 10 day wait if you already have a truck booked but most trucking companies won't even talk to you. Storage fees at the port are $125 a day. It's a bloodbath.
