The bizarre COVID side effect no one is talking about
A subset of COVID survivors are suffering from an unexpected side effect known as parosmia, a condition that causes their sense of smell to go haywire. Coffee smells like sewage and chicken smells like rotting garbage.

Comment
It is a form of neurasthenic. When dealing with hospice patients with neurasthesia from chemo I always recommended zinc, B complex and essential fatty acids so like omega 3 supplements.

Comment
I am 69 years old and back in the early 70’s something called the Hong Kong flu caused the same symptoms. Loss of smell and taste and many people never got it back. It happened to my grandma and it lasted the rest of her life. Has anyone investigated the connection between the two viruses???

I've known people who permanently lost their sense of smell from a bad untreated cold so this is certainly possible.

The clinical attack rate varied. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, public health authorities reported an overall illness attack rate of 43%.29 A study among inmates of Georgia State Prison chronicled a 40% illness attack rate, and a study of residents of a California retirement community revealed that 10% were symptomatic.30 This may have reflected some preexisting immunity in older age groups, suggested by serological studies revealing antibodies to the virus prior to the pandemic in large percentages of adults aged older than 65 years.31 However, unlike the 1957 H2N2 pandemic, in which 86% of index cases were school age, index cases in 1968 were equally divided among school-aged children and adults.32 Overall, children aged 10 to 14 years comprised the age group with the highest clinical attack rate (40%).33 In 2010, Jackson et al. used a variety of published data sets to estimate that the first-wave basic reproduction number (R0) was between 1.06 and 2.06 and the second-wave R0 was between 1.21 and 3.58.34 A subsequent 2014 meta-analysis of R0 studies revealed an overall median point estimate of 1.8 for the 1968 pandemic H3N2 virus.35 Complications and exacerbation of underlying disease conditions, such as diabetes, cardiac failure, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, contributed to excess mortality.36 In the United States, the pandemic resulted in an estimated 100 000 deaths.37 As with other 20th-century pandemics, large proportions (half in 1968) of pneumonia and influenza deaths occurred in persons younger than 65 years

we are being bombarded with bioweapons,

they are being released through chemtrails,

they did this last year,

to get the ball rolling,

the people getting ill now are from the vaxx,

there is no virus,

it is germ warfare,

they knew you wouldn't go into the gas chambers willingly,

so they brought them to you

Absolutely fascinating. These days, no scientist rolls up the sleeves and dives into first-hand reports.

That's unfortunate, because uncontrolled case studies are a great indicator in which direction to create controlled case studies.

This used to be a component of science until the 1970s, when corporations realized that this would sometimes backfire and affect profits on certain products.
Embrace the cognitive dissonance.

Another subtle side effect of the stab is that it makes you gay as fuck.

Can't prove it because none of the vaxers will own up to it.

Someone I know had a bad round w/ WhuFlu, hospitalized & on vent. He recovered but had lost his sense of taste & smell UNTIL he took Ivermectin. This was back summer 2020 & someone gave him a dab of their horse wormer & it was back the next day.

My husband and I both lost our smell from covid for about three or four days. Taste we didn't totally lose...we could taste if something was sweet, salty, sour, etc, just not specific flavor. When it was gone we were really hoping it wouldn't last long. It didn't.

People treated for 'Covid' are being treated with experimental treatments and other treatments. Why does no ask if this is a result of those treatments or the kill shot if they had the kill shot? There's never been provided actual proof of the Covid and the tests are bs. So...

Because its a parasite. garlic cloves, drink vinegar pickle juice ,and pin worm medication kills it too.

Parasites that small dont really need meds to kill round worms, tape worms, hook worms and shit. Pin worm meds get into your blood and stays about 7 days in your system.

Any lettuce now tastes like it's rotten, like straight out of a garbage can. Wife has the same deal. We used to eat salads at least twice a month....now we can't even eat it at all, and it doesn't matter what type, iceberg, Romain all tastes spoiled. We got covid last year in May of 2020.

Having just got over it, I noticed a few bizarre things about it.

The most bizarre though is that somehow it shut the whole country down and made people want to inject mystery substances into their bodies

I lose my taste and smell with every cold and flu....until my doctor told me it was because I was deficient in zinc. That was a few years ago. I started taking 10mg of zinc and I haven't lost my sense of taste and smell since, including with Covid.

My side effect is the frequent whiff of sulfur or smoke. Almost like the smell of a smokers clothes. It only last for about 2-3 breathes, but it happens about 2-3 times a day. Have had it since last Christmas. Very pecular, took me a couple months to understand what was happening. Kept thinking some electronics were burning or something.

Influenza can also cause the same thing. I lost my sense of taste and smell for almost a month after a bad case of the flu. The virus attacks the olfactory nerves. Some people never get it back, but that is very rare.

Nah.

I purposely volunteered every single week for the test, becuase I didn’t believe all the hoopla, and many suggested it gave false positives.

I was tested 22 times, in 22weeks straight, with all negative results, no Covid infection, and no medical problems/symptoms/conditions.

I’m actually gonna read up on Hong Kong Flu...was kinda before my time, and have never really read much about it, but now I’m interested.

Yes I smell the same thing 8 months out, I also, can not enjoy a soda, one day it will taste fine, the next it tastes like sulfur, it’s disgusting. My taste has not fully come back yet and I’m not sure it ever will. I do the zinc, vit c, d and b regime but it isn’t working, I have tinnitus as well still
