The only way I would take a vax, was if survival rate was dismal.....like 10 or 20%. Then I would say fuck it, and get it. Everyday life is filled with risk. I don't see much risk in COVID. I might be wrong, but the evidence I've seen doesn't intimidate me. Ebola IS survivable, I guess, but the odds aren't good. I don't know the official numbers (and I'm sure there'd be variants!!! to consider). I think it might fall in the 10% survival category. |

And suppose there was a vaccine. This opens another can o' worms: is this vaccine real, and tested, and effective? Is it a natural vaccine (exposing us to a weak version of the virus in hopes that our immune systems can learn how to deal with the real McCoy), or is it some mRNA hocus pocus? I'm going to discount this aspect, even though it matters. My point is that ebola is scary. I could see myself getting a vaccination (as long as they didn't call it "the jab" or market it as "it's our best shot!"). The novel coronavirus, on the other hand, doesn't faze me in the least. Would you be likely to take the vaccination? it would be a cold day in hell to have it happen with out some fucked marketing. |

It's the attempts at trying to demonize those who even question it. Itsnthe politicizing of it and social influence that's been taken advantage of to utilize an agenda. The actual medical credibility is nonexistent. Something that keeps you from getting sick is a good thing, but questioning putting a substance in your body that not even the medical industry can vouch for isn't unreasonable and demonizing those who do illustrate a clear example of why we shouldn't be taking Uncle Sam at face value. |
