Holy Crap - Just At Walmart & Piles and Piles of Boxes Everywhere - No Employees To Stock!

I almost called the health dept' when I saw lots of chicken and other meats & perishables sitting in overloaded shopping carts in the return area. How many days until it's returned to stock? I will never buy meat there ever!!!

They have been doing that here. It's something with restocking while downsizing the shelf space in the stores.

It's not just Walmart, my Kroger was severely depleted on Thursday when I was in there and Dollar General always has trolleys full of merchandise waiting to be unpacked every time I'm in there. And places still have signs in their windows looking for help, and pedo joe's mandate will not help matters.

After reading this thread I have ordered a large freeze dryer and hundreds of bags, an xl upright freezer, and a spare 12KW gas/propane generator. (3) 200 gallon propane tanks are full, and my gardens are loaded with winter greens seedlings looking good. Now I can take a short break!

I saw the exact thing same here the aisles were full of pallets and the shelves were ran through and empty. No one in their right mind going to take that shot for peanuts or any reason for that metter.

I will stock up on Halloween decor, most definitely.

Walmart get ready mandated the vaccine I know work for walmart

No one left to stock because all the stockers are picking orders for Pick Up/Online orders. Walmart fucked up when they stopped stocking at night.They changed some major things to save a few dollars and it has hurt them. Plus the CEO is an idiot.

I think you are right. I was at my local Supermegalamart and they had mega boxes of camper TP. It’s just the way they manage it. I stopped at another Supermegalamart in MT or ND and it was the best ever! Fresh food, stock was neatly on the shelves, no messes. The store was full of Caucasians wearing blue jeans and boots.

Walmart customers will throw their trash in the parking lot.

I was in CVS the other day, just to pick up some snacks on my way to work....there was NO CASHIER!!!!!!!!!

There was a self-check-out register. I never saw a self-checkout in CVS before! I mean, folks, there really, REALLY WAS NO CASHIER!!! Nobody there....Just check your own stuff out and leave!

I was at Walmart tonight. Ohio. Tons of boxes, but tons of employees stocking, too. It looked like they are finally getting things back in stock.
I bought a pair of jeans. The tag said clearance $13 and they rung up $5, so that was pretty nice.

Looks like the more money you have, the more money you need to spend to be happy.

Ours was the same in port arthur texas. Boxes all over the place. On a good note they had 3 cashiers

Can't happen here in CA, because you can't buy alcohol at a self checkout. So they have a 'mini checkout' by the self checkouts for alcohol purchases, but then you still need to self-checkout the rest of your stuff.

A huge hassle. I was there several days ago in the morning and of course, had alcohol in my cart. Not one single 'normal' register open I went to the self checkout 'alcohol station' and was told I would have to wait for a manager to scan my alcohol. I told the clerk they could have at least one normal register open, and she told me "There is no money in the registers yet". This at 8:30 AM, and they had been open since 6:00 AM.

I waited 10 minutes until a 'manager' could scan my items and I left. I will never spend a single dime there again. Fuck Sam Walton's Offspring. They have fucked up the empire he built and screwed the pooch. Sam is rolling in his grave.
