But think about it: MOST disasters really DO NOT happen all at once. In fact, they DO tend to seem to be "slow motion" and then most peeps look away, and THEN it seems like it "just happened!"

Notice, even in THIS thread some folks are getting bored, or "losing interest." It's amazing, they think it didn't happen last week or the week before, so it's not going to happen.

When in fact, the earth, the planet, is a very big place! And because of that, "nature" happens, and it happens on a scale and in a timeline that doesn't make sense to humans.

Yeah, the primary reason they want two threads is to split our group apart and instigate faction/interpersonal conflict. Very predictable move and what they are trained to do…very sad if anyone from our side falls for it. Simple Strategy: Accuse one imaginary “side” of NOT being true believers (“true believers only post hard data!! millions of lives are now lost because you posted cat pictures!! you evil fiend!!”) It’s an exaggeration and redirection of the normal response to trolling…we are so used to trolls that they can bank on our reactions and response to the accusation.

There is a secondary benefit to this division in that the “pure” thread can now be policed and locked down. They can persecute anyone who ventures down conspiracy rabbit holes and postulates interesting theories, anyone who find connections that are related to the subject but not strictly volcanic data. It’s a foot in the door…a very clever way to get the censorship they really want. And it happens when you let them stifle discussion in the interests of “purity.”

Tertiary benefits involve the removal of Group Bonding Dynamics. I’m a former Firefighter…I saw a lot of fucked up shit- dead children, people’s guts laying in the road, bodies burned to a crisp, average people who got their faces torn off and went into uncontrollable psychosis. The only way we could deal with those horrible things that traumatize an average person was to become a tight-knit group, confide in each other, befriend each other and enjoy the company of people who “get it” and relate because they’ve “been there, done that.” I can’t imagine working a shift where I wasn’t “allowed” to fraternize with my co-workers and talk about funny shit, pastimes, hobbies, likes/dislikes, etc. It would be unbearable and I’d quit. That’s the reaction these ailurophobic cocksuckers want YOU to have. They want you to quit.

Quaternary benefits involve the very primal base psychology of conspiracy theorists like us. We hate being told what to do…what we can and cannot say…what we’re allowed to think about…what topics can or cannot be discussed. The easiest way to completely handicap a group like ours is to make stupid pedantic rules and give them force. Or to punish those who do not comply with authoritative demands for catless “purity” by isolating them into their own thread quarantine zone.

Y’all shills can fuck off. I’m staying in this thread. I’m only posting on this site because of THIS same thread…and if it dies it gets or gets socially punished with quarantine/isolation because of a Group Bonding Dynamic, then I’ll be moving on to greener pastures elsewhere. Yes I can google.... why turn this thread into cat and other non doom stuff? We have two boarder collies and a scrappy cat. But most come for cool updates and appreciate the time others spend providing volcano updates.

Yea this thread has been pathetic for awhile. Trinity should just this down. No useful info and if it is, the BS you have to wade thru to find it is unreal.

You can always make your own thread on the matter or you can simply decide NOT to click the link to come into this one. It’s not a complicated enterprise.
