Lava flows have a temperature of 1,075 degrees Celsius. As reported by the Volcanological Institute of the Canary Islands (Involcan), its teams stationed in the area of the eruption have been able to take thermal images of the lava flows.

All I know, it was a large city with lots of collapsed buildings like match sticks. All I kept thinking about was how we were gonna rebuild with all the destruction.
