This afternoon/evening the camera of la cuarta TV have been filming the Church of St. Pius X saying the lava is about to engulf it, you could see the church and smoke and flames behind it from the advancing lava right behind it... Well that was from aprox. 18.00 till 20.00 the camera was on the church expecting to see it crumble.... Well Miraculously it is still standing! ! They mentioned it noww on tv, but they are still expecting it to crumble.

II am thinking the Lava maybe skirted it? It seemed right behind it at around 20.OO. It is now 24.00

It might survive or not. . I think it is amazing it is still standing. . .

They described it as a mushroom cloud and explosions.
Well that certainly could be a description of what could happen here.

No conclusions, mostly conjecture on my part. The little media coverage it got days ago did make it seem like it was no big deal. It kind of looks like a big deal though. I could be wrong. I'm just here trying to take it all in like everyone else.

Literally what happened to the people and Americans in Kabul. Constant stream of announcements from the State Dept and the US Embassy that everything was fine and there was nothing to fear up until literally the day Kabul fell.

A terrifying trend, if that’s what this is. Have the world’s governments all gotten on the same page? Seems worse than trying to prevent panic…it seems like it’s intentionally putting people in harm’s way.
