Just expressing my gratitude. I had a dream about a place that looked exactly like that. I can’t remember any details (this was years ago) but it made me happy to “go back” there by seeing it and knowing about it. Something about it triggers an irrational, unexplainable sense of pleasantness.

Strange reaction, but true. There are some sights and places that just make me momentarily feel a connection to the woven fabric of time and space.

The earthquake is normally a symptom of something else.

Or the chunk is already slipping underneath so it produces earthquakes.

Increasing, but very slightly.

I have been watching. It follows no apparent pattern. No clear form of connection can be observationally derived either. Some days one island shakes, some days another.

I was originally looking because the three western most islands almost made me wonder if they could be part of one magma chamber, but that theory quickly went to the crapper.

The entire Spanish peninsula is incredibly seismically active, and it appears to reach out west to a fault fracture in the Atlantic Ocean. Although I lost the fantastic link that showed all of this information way back around 340, I think.



Now, is this region fairly active, yes.

Does it seem to be increasing in activity, yes.

Is it normal? I went back through 10+ years and it SEEMS to be more active. But ten years is a joke for a planet. So I don't know it that helps. Ten years took me a couple hours, using a random sampling.

I never saw signs of genuine earthquakes in the past, if I remember correctly. It is late and I am tired here. There are probably some 1.0's on the graph for the last couple days.



The big question is this: Are they noise being picked up from Palma, or is it separate noises?

I have to believe they are separate. Although its just a cursory inspection at this time.
