All cams are so blurry right now, ocean cam is a bit clearer but far away. I haven't seen a collapse.

Whoa. It was 4.3 and 4.5 this past week. Now 4.7.

Its positively awesome and amazing and horrible and so many adjectives all at once.

If we get a 5, even with no slide, could somebody please please please post it as a stand alone pinned thread. I would take that as the serious signal to evacuate or be totally ready to.

For people like me outside the expected flood but inside the zone of refugees and loss of power and so forth, it is the signal to add as much last second preps as you can. Things you might not ordinarily stock up on but would be glad to have. Oranges, more apples and onions, squash, carrots, potatoes, anything long keeping in a cellar. More crackers, more many things that are not normally in a long term preps stash.

Really i cant tell if it is the main one or the new one.

Messenger Lite provides free international calling. it is easy enough for me, the Lite app. Tied to FB somewhow, but extremely easy to use.
developed for the Third World to use in minimalist conditions.

Used it to talk to my daughter and send pics etc when she was in Slovakia for a year,
on Fulbright.
in the eastern part of that counry,
near the border to Ukraine, where she went too.

it worked flawlessly. Calling and texting.

I just got back too.. I think it's really smokey now.

Seems very active still. Today the mid vent is more active than yesterday, also much more smoke today.

I saw that the other day, (not on the prepper account) I believe that is just ash slides, have seen a few other examples of that too.

They updated the earthquake and now it is 4.5 on the island at 37km

Big increase in lava flow from lower vent, it is like yesterday now.

2nd vent really spewing gas, lava and smoke. Yesterday it was going LGBT on us but now it is full on heterosexual.

Cool! Yeah last night was the first time I had a dream about the volcano. It was all just crazy chaos and all at once it just stopped and the eruption was over just like that.

Hopefully for the people of La Palma that will be the case...only time will tell.

this may provide it. Can't say because I did not need that option.

A couple hours ago visibility was decent and the lava flow was glowing brightly. Total smokeshow right now.
