My ex mother in law was a vile, mean, abusive woman with mental issues. She is dead, but that doesn’t change who she was. .

She was an aspiring vlogger who lived in a van, with random, ironic tattoos. Of course she's insane and clearly a candidate for suicide or other self destructive behaviors that could lead to her demise. RIP but let us all move on. Not all that newsworthy.

Brian labeled himself as 100% guilty in the eyes of the public and the media the minute he decided NOT to identify the park ranger, park employees, local LE, law enforcement in FL and instead "lawyered up."

Of course she deserves justice, assuming she was murdered. I offered no cruel criticism, just stating the obvious. Clearly she was trying to escape something about life. It's unfortunate and I hope she rests in peace.

On the other hand, it seems to me that Brian was attempting to escape something and "isolate" BIG TIME.

It's a red flag for anyone with any schizo disorder, and not taking medication for it. The LAST place Gabby needed to be was out in the middle of an isolated no man's land with obstacles, deliberate or not, of communication.

It wasn't a very socially oriented and constantly communicating with her family "Gabby" that was escaping and/or isolating, it was Brian.

He was reading the novel "Annihilation" during that long ever-isolating trek.
