Insurance companies will eventually drop all non-vaxxers.

No big loss tho because the hospitals are where they bump off us useless eaters anyway.

They will all go broke paying out on future claims from the vaxxed. Meanwhile the nonvaxxed will have made them more money by not being sick, but they will try to make us pay for it somehow by making it fully government controlled and taxing the shit out of everyone to pay for the vax damage.

last visit in 1982.

My main provider at the VA opted for a tele-health appt for my annual check-up, you can always go that route, while you are deciding. It was a joke anyway. Because seriously, an annual by phone?? shrugs..

It just goes to prove that there is a serious 'lack of care' going on at the VA. They will set a broken leg, etc. Yet there is no follow-up of any ongoing medical concerns, no real attempts at 'finding the cure' for some lingering medical problem.

I've been thinking.. well.. if 'something seriously went wrong... at least the VA will cover it'. Yeah, well.. perhaps. They have begun telling veterans 'no procedures/surgery done unless you have a covid test first'. And for the first time, some veterans are faced with whether or not that will be the hill they die on. Some walk away, would rather not have whatever the procedure/surgery is. Next battle to face is, them saying that veterans who need procedures/surgery must have the vax first. :/

Our only option is to drop VA and turn to community care, using Medicare, other programs, or none at all. :/ And seriously, looking around, what the VA has become is no better than these. Perhaps just as bad even.

They will not push it on you. they just want you to wear a mask in the clinic/ hospital. you are making up a worst fear scenario in you mind or you are trolling.

Probably both. Meaning I'm trolling for response or confirmation bias. I want to know what other vets think or if any have recently been pushed. I received an email from them awhile back asking why i wasn't yet vaccinated. I ignored it. They have me down as anti vax long before C19. They bring it up every visit.

Just decline any jab offered not all VA staff are vaxxed and some will be let go before they let that happen tell them it's against your religion.
call or contact them online and switch to a telehealth appointment they are doing lots of those now a days.

Ive never had an experience like you are imagjning at the VA. If you mention suicide though i wouldnt expect it togo well

You have proof of this? Ive had two surgeries since covid and was never even offered the vax.

You put in your time to deserve the VA benefits…and you deserve that! My husband is a retired Marine…NOT been vaccinated…NOT GOING to be vaccinated! He gets the calls…he gets the letters. It makes no difference. They’re doing their job to hound everyone about it but that should not deter you at all. Keep it short and to the point without getting emotional if they ask…a solid “no thank you” is al it takes. You may have to say it several times because some of these psychopaths actually have drank the kool aid and believe in the nonsense and think it’s actually helping people, not harming them.

Remember, a non-emotional “No thank you” is all it takes. Tell them you need more time to research. Tell them whatever but DON’T get angry or confrontational…don’t give them ANY reason to think you’re anything other than rational and level-minded. The fuckers are used to putting all veterans in the same box and I don’t trust them AT ALL, as they serve the overlords. If you can’t keep your cool, don’t use them - go to a clinic. I wouldn’t ask them any questions or open a dialogue about it - you’re wasting your time and putting yourself at risk in my opinion. Good luck to you!

Recently had my annual as well. No one asked about the vax. Had to wear a mask and was asked if I had close contact or any symptoms.

Then had to go to imaging for MRI - same treatment

Then had to go to chiropractor and again same treatment

they are not asking about the jab at all

Tell them you are getting your health care through civilian channels. See if you can do a telehealth and just let them do their run down of questions. So you stay in the system and don't fear for your benefits - if you need more time to think about this just call them and ask for a reschedule, it will be months before you'll have another appointment. Buy ya some time.

I am staying as far away as I can myself.
I do see a civilian but then when the civilians want to do all those freaking tests - I tell them I will do that at the VA.

Good Western Medicine sucks anyway. Find alternative health, integrative- they don't take insurance anyway.

I have routinely been offered the flu shot. I politely decline and there is no problem no pressure. I have been offered the coof jab and I have politely declined that. No pressure.

Thanks for all your replies. All thoughtful and valid. I think i need to log out for awhile. Too much internet and external stimulus. I've been obsessing again. I'm a bunch of acronyms right now. Last place i need to go is a freaking VA clinic.

Well...i went. It was no big deal. Had to wear a face diaper. I said no thanks to vaccines. Pushing flu shots again as well Modern C19 shots. That was that. Pulled some blood for labs, sent home with a shit kit. still have great numbers. 57 years old. 180 lbs. BP 118/70. pulse 64. Old guy athlete still but with aches and pains of old injuries.

we told you it wouldn't be a big deal. i haven't even been asked to take a flu shot. just a few flyers saying no appt needed for one.

The VA has been doing things much better in many places. Its still stupid we have to go off property now to smoke. that is not going to stop anyone from smoking. in our hospital. now a church front lawn has thousands of butts on the sidewalk and lawn.

they took a brand new smoking area right there and turned it into some greenhouse thing.

Holy Crap! University of Chicago called me, in behalf of study CDC is doing.

They wanted to know why I refused Vaccines!

My VA appointment was October 7th.

The VA divulged my PRIVATE information to an outside agency! This deserves it's own thread! Maybe when i get home from work later.

CDC called me and asked why i refused C19 jab and Flu jab
Do i wear mask?
What is my age?
What is my Gender?
Am I sexually active?
What is my sexual orientation?
What is my highest education level?
Am i mentally well?
They concluded call by thanking me for my military service.

I called the number back....University of Chicago.

This was 5 days ago.

The VA shared my medical records. That's fucking illegal.

I am at the VA quite a bit. It is offered, but no one is pushing it. Even the ER nurses that were forced to get the Jabed to keep their jobs and support their families, hate the mandates.

They are seeing a big increase in strokes and heart attacks. The emergency room waiting is getting longer too.

Anyways, many say they draw the line with their kids being forced to get the vax. While others decided to leave the VA to work elsewhere. This is unfortunate because the VA has the best benefits package. A lot of vets employed at the VA since they have hiring preference have left working for the VA. And, they are being replaced with mostly civilians willing to take the jab. itis so screwed up. Conservatives are being driven out of society.

Losing rights t protest= insurrection to the left, can't go to college, school, travel, fly, go to an entertainment venue, and in general, can't keep their jobs. The Democrats are creating a dystopia.

All VA's are connected to major universities. If they share the information with an outside vendor contracted with the university, then it is OK.

Same in San Antonio. In fact, the staff seems happier when I refuse. Everyone knows there is something screwy and wrong with what s going on concerning the COVID shot. You have to be a real pinhead or radical liberal not to see it.
