Both politics and human nature affect EVERYTHING, and Wall Street is no less susceptible to that than any other group or entity out there.

BTW, Wall Street donated way more to Joe Biden in 2020 than it gave to Donald Trump.

if you followed pelosi's trades which are public info (but delayed), you could have easily made tons of money. The fact that they are involved and have a large portion of their money in the markets is why stocks have been the biggest wealth generator for the average person. if they don't have a stake, they have no interest in maintaining the markets. it's literally free money if you can hang in there.

I've been buying put options on Pfizer and moderna. They keep expiring worthless, but one of these times, I should get a huge payout.

In the old days, when the market was at 15,000 at a high, 900 was a crash. Now it's just a daily blip. It goes up and down 900 all the time now.

I agree to a point. The market should have corrected itself massively several times now. Just like the dollar should have crashed. It's just not happening.

Unless you make a living by day trading, time in the market is better than trying to time the market. All that's happened is it's erased gains since ~July. Still way up for the year.

Plus if the market crashes 20-30%, then definitely "buy the dip" as they say.
