CAT 7 tourniquet is one of the best out there, and the easiest for SELF application. I also like the SOFTT-W. The RATs Tourniquet can work in a pinch as well. It won't work on the BOX, meaning the torso because it is a cavity. Chest Seals are your best bet for gunshot wounds to the BOX. If you do not have Chest Seals plastic film and tape will work, you might have to burp it, though. For wound packing, you need lots of pressure as well. |

I made get home bags for everyone in my family last week. I got turniquets and stop bleed and hemostat bandages. also other various med kit supplies instant ice pack. I got a nice med kit in my concealed carry backpack. Better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it right?although i need to do some training to the family. |
