Yes, my wife is currently going through the same thing. She said she's getting a haircut too, ironically delayed 2 weeks because her stylist has "The Flu". She panicked for weeks about it. Wet drowned rats found at the drain of the shower. She obsessed over it. Says she can see "little stubble" coming in so she thinks it's just all her old hair thats going out and she's getting new hair that will take awhile to grow back.  Thank you for posting so I can let her know she's not alone. I went through the same thing she did. Had to get the "snake" to clear the drain in the shower and pulled out huge clumps several times. My hairdrresser told me it's only temporary, but when it's happening to you it feels like forever. It is scary, extremely stressful. I hope your wife's hair grows back beautiful Thank you. She's weird and says she's hoping for full-on silver coming back in.
